Let them know what you stock before they walk in

A neighbourhood shop isn't competing with Amazon on price: it's competing to be the one that's nearby, has the product someone wants and is open right now. That gets decided on a phone, minutes before they leave the house.

The starting point

What we find almost every time

  • The opening hours on Google aren't the real ones Bank holidays, summer hours, closing for the holidays. Someone who makes the trip and finds the shutters down is unlikely to try again.
  • Nobody knows exactly what you sell Your sign says one thing and inside you have twenty more. If that isn't written down anywhere, the people looking for exactly what you stock never get to you.
  • Instagram has the photos and the site has nothing All the content work lives on a network that doesn't show up on Google and that you don't control. The day the algorithm changes or the account gets blocked, you're left without a shop window.
What you need

What makes the difference in this sector

Each block can be taken on its own. This is the order that usually works best.

A shop window that's open around the clock

What you sell, the brands you carry, the real opening hours, how to get there and how to get in touch. You don't need an online shop to sell more: you need people to find you and know what's inside.

Professional website

Show up when people search for the product nearby

We work on product plus area searches, the ones that bring in somebody with their wallet already in hand, along with a Google listing with current photos and hours.

Local SEO + Google/AI

Social media at a pace you can keep

Steady content without you having to make it in the evenings, linked to the website so the work doesn't stay locked inside Instagram.

Marketing / social

Hours and new arrivals always current

Changing the Christmas hours or putting up the new seasonal line is part of the maintenance. If every change costs money, in the end it never gets done.

Frequently asked questions

About shops and retail

Do I need an online shop?

Often not, and we'll tell you straight. Selling online adds stock, shipping, returns and maintenance. If your strength is selling in the shop, the first job is getting found and getting people to know what you stock.

And if I want to sell online later on?

That's a separate piece of work with its own quote, and the site is built so it can be added without rebuilding everything.

Can I put the new arrivals up myself?

Yes, we leave you a way to do it. And if you'd rather not touch it, it's covered by the Care + hosting module.

Is it worth it if my customers have been coming for years?

Your long standing customers already know you. This is for the person who has just moved into the area, or who's looking for what you stock and doesn't know yet that you exist.

How does it connect with Instagram?

The site links to the profile and can show its content, but the things that matter (products, hours, address) live on the site, which is what Google reads and what you control.
